Tokushima Ramen: Men Oh King

Tokushima Ramen: Men Oh King

King Tokushima Ramen is very famous, and Tokushima Ramen itself is a highly sought after ramen in Japan. Four stores are now open in California. Tokushima ramen has three characteristics. First, unlike most ramen, which is garnished with barbecued pork as an ingredient, Tokushima ramen is made with pork belly cooked in a rich sauce to taste. The noodles are thin noodles with soft texture, and the length of the noodles is shorter than that of ordinary ramen.

The store is not big, and after sitting down, a head-to-head menu was placed. The signature Tokushima ramen, Tokushima ramen, is clearly described as the ramen featuring pork bones and soy sauce. But the other diners and I don’t like the salty taste of soy sauce-although the delicious soy sauce ramen should be very fresh, but based on my previous experience of soy sauce ramen, I really don’t have the taste soy. The taste buds of umami sauce. . .So we all ordered tonkotsu ramen, one spicy and the other not spicy.

Ordered two pieces of meat as topping, one was char siu, and the other was called Butabara, which felt like something like fried pork.

Seasoning, the original spicy oil is called La Yu. . .

This is the ordinary Tonkotsu Ramen tonkotsu ramen. You can see that the topping is the fried pork belly. This bowl is made of normal level ramen, which is not disappointing or amazing. And the fried pork belly was originally dry and tasteless, and it immediately became very fragrant in the soup ~

Dangdang, this is my spicy tonkotsu ramen. It means that the soup is naturally not as delicious as ordinary tonkotsu ramen, but it has a strong flavor. The noodles gave me the toughness of the alkaline noodles, which is very satisfying. The eggs are just half cooked. The only drawback is that the soup is slightly salty and it feels too mellow.
