New restaurants, pop-up shops, coffee roasters and theme bars!

Let’s take a look at who has this year’s award-winning restaurant

Those who haven't tasted it will try it next year!

Best new restaurant

Communion Restaurant & Bar

Communion, opened by chef Kristi Brown, has been in business for more than a year, and has made some innovations in the Soul Food cuisine she is good at-Catfish po'boys, "Hood Sushi," and smoked chicken are all very famous in her family Dishes~

And not only Eater Seattle, this restaurant has won many awards since its opening this year. It was named one of the best new restaurants in the world by Conde Nast Traveler, and it was also the most popular in "New York Times 2021". List of restaurants!

Best Community Restaurant

Weasel

Musang opened a few months before the epidemic, but was forced to close down due to the epidemic.

But Melissa Miranda, the chef and restaurant owner, still silently contributes to the community, cooking in the community kitchen to provide everyone with free food.

In addition to creative dishes, Musang also has many traditional Filipino dishes-Lumpia Filipino spring rolls, grilled pork belly, Filipino stir-fried rice noodles and so on... We will also update the menu according to the seasons and make some special seasonal dishes~

Best pop-up store

Feed the People

This is a pop-up shop initiated by chef Tarik "Cooka T" Abdullah, and regularly teaches young people cooking-their purpose and mission is to communicate through food.

The dishes made during the pop-up period are also very interesting-use jackfruit instead of meat with vegan nachos, lamb burger and Harissa spicy Mac&Cheese.

Best Coffee Roaster

Fulcrum Coffee Roasters

Seattle has nearly 20 independent coffee roasters, and Fulcrum stands out from the rest. What is so special about it?

Blas Alfaro, vice president and head of the Fulcrum coffee project, is from five generations of Costa Rican coffee farmers.

In addition to providing a wealth of field knowledge for coffee sourcing and roasting, Alfaro also monitors the sustainability of the coffee industry through close relationships with coffee farmers-this is especially important when coffee producing areas are most affected by climate change.

The most creative theme bar

Inside Passage

This theme bar is a unique interior design carried out by Notch Gonzales-there is a huge floating octopus (named Kiki) above the bar.

Each of Kiki's tentacles is 18 feet long.

And each cocktail is a different novelty experience, just the glass of wine is enough to make people feel unique and brighten up~

Have you tried any of the above restaurants~

Come and share your experience with everyone!

Is it enough to convince you~
