Picture fromThe internet

There are only a handful of delicious food on UBC campus, but we have more delicious food near UBC! Today, the editor has collected for you some restaurants that are well received in the UBC area within a radius of XNUMX kilometers. I hope that the majority of eateries will not let down their stomachs while studying hard.

Strike

An authentic Taiwanese restaurant. In terms of Taiwanese restaurants, apart from the UBC campus, the broken shop is the closest to UBC. It also has branches in Vancouver and Richmond. The overall style of the broken shop is a bit like Taiwan's bloody comics. There are many dishes inside, in addition to the famous Taiwanese snacks and drinks, there are also red oil copying, roasted chicken legs and so on. Black pepper iron plate steak rice (noodles), is a very recommended course by Xiaobian, and it is delicious. Overall a restaurant worth visiting.

Ramen House

It is impossible to discern what kind of cuisine restaurant, which combines the style of Cantonese cuisine, local cuisine, Sichuan cuisine and Western-style Chinese cuisine. Mainly home-cooked dishes, large quantities, taste of mother. The dishes are very rich, including grated meat, paste, lamb skewers, white garlic meat, fried noodles, dandan noodles, xiaolongbao, bridge noodles and so on. In terms of taste, both Chinese and Westerners like it. There is also a free delivery service in the restaurant. If you have a party at home, you can use the side dishes of professional chefs.

Hu Tong

The Hutong restaurant is not large, and the decoration of the facade is the pattern of ancient Chinese blue and white porcelain. The owner, Mr. Sun, lived in an alley in Dongcheng District, Beijing when he was a kid. This restaurant was opened to let people with the plot of Beijing relive the taste of childhood. In Vancouver, although you can eat the flavors of the world, it is not easy to eat authentic Beijing cuisine. In the hutong, you can not only eat authentic Beijing-style copper pot lamb, lamb skewers, braised fire, old Beijing mutton with kebabs, fried noodles, fried wotou with stinky tofu, even the hard-to-see fried liver You can eat at this restaurant, but make an appointment in advance. The price is relatively high, but the atmosphere of this restaurant Xiaobian really likes it.

Mamalee

Legend has it that the best Hainanese chicken rice in Vancouver, Malaysian cuisine, is mainly Hainanese chicken, so UBC students call it "Hainanese chicken", in fact, its name is "Mamalee". In addition to the main Hainanese chicken, Malay specialties such as Bak Kut Teh, fried rice noodles, curry, Nyonya cakes are also good. Although it looks like a simple restaurant decoration from the outside, when it is time to eat, there is a long line outside the restaurant. It is a very worthwhile restaurant near UBC.

Hime Sushi

A small Japanese restaurant, but one of the hottest Japanese restaurants around UBC. The interior style is very special, with Japanese cartoons always showing, and Japanese style barbecues on a small stove. The food is exquisite and the taste is good. It's my favorite restaurant near UBC. Recommend Chicken Yaki Udon (must order for everyone), hot pot, mussel pot and skewer.

Yuji's Japanese Tapas

Authentic high-quality Japanese food, Yelp has been praised for four and a half stars, and is known as a restaurant that will regret not eating. The interior is decorated with Japanese dramas, and the tableware is Japanese. The whole is very classic! The dishes are very selective, and there are many special dishes, which can be considered to be moderate to high prices. Senior Japanese food lover should love this place. The most important thing is to be close to UBC! Recommend Omakase course, meaning: please surprise me!

Hitoe sushi

A small Japanese restaurant. It has a more traditional sushi restaurant style. Although it is not very outstanding, it is still good and the price is moderate. This place has sea urchin, slightly fishy taste, and sweet shrimp, but it is not particularly sweet. Its Aburi sushi is a new product. The aroma of charcoal fire and the special smell produced by high-temperature strengthened fish are very good. In addition, Xiaobian also highly recommends his family's teriyaki series. Unlike other stores, its teriyaki is fried in a stone pot, so it is not as easy as other places to get cold. The three-color rice is also very good and has special characteristics.

Irori Sushi

The Japanese restaurant near Hitoe, although on the XNUMXth street, is very close to Yuji's. The choice of dishes is average. Compared to other Japanese restaurants near UBC, sushi is not particularly outstanding, but the plate is very delicate. The overall dishes are a bit of a Western style. Not recommended for its tuna roll, but the Tuna Tataki Salad in the head dish is worth a try. The sashimi is still very good.

The Eatery

An Astro-themed restaurant in the Kitsilano area. The dishes are plentiful, there is a culture of western-style Japanese food, and it feels like Bar at night. Advocate a diet reform. The decoration is very distinctive, very anime and funky. A large number of rolls are fusion styles combining Japanese and Western styles. Very different from traditional Japanese sushi and rolls. Those who like early adopters can try it.

Doolami

Canned red ice cream parlors that can be packed can only open at 7 pm and generally open until 11 pm. Don't go during the day, otherwise you will be messy in the wind like Xiao Bian once. In addition to the main handmade natural fruit ice cream, there are also poppy manna, tofu flowers, handmade cotton ice, and of course the indispensable taro garden series. (The best to take away ice cream is best to book in advance, durian flavor is easy to sell out) Girls who love sweets can try it ~

Peaceful Restaurant

A name reminiscent of a five-star hotel hahaha. As the most popular Chinese food for foreigners, there are basically foreigners in it. Many people recommend it, but everyone has different tastes, and I think it is average. The restaurant slogan is "traditional cuisine, northern flavor", so there are many northern dishes, but the taste has been westernized. Disadvantages The speed of serving is too slow, the specific evaluation depends on the feedback of the majority of food.

The Kitchen

Many UBC students like to go to the Korean BBQ restaurant. Although it can not be compared with the famous Korean food in the Greater Vancouver area like Sura, The kitchen is a cheap student. The Korean-style light meals and tofu hotpots are popular among students. If you do n’t have enough budget and want to eat some pretty good Korean food near the school. The kitchen is your good choice.

Royal Seoul House

Korean restaurant near UBC, the interior decoration is special and atmospheric. Korean cuisine + Korean BBQ. It is a relatively good Korean food nearby, the price is medium and high, and the taste is personally good, but some friends and editors report that the service attitude is poor. But Xiaobian, as a beauty (please allow me to narcissistic), said that when I went there, my brother was handsome and nice, hahaha. The price is small, but overall I feel good.

Gold Train Express

A very ordinary Vietnamese restaurant, the dishes of the neon five ring (Olympic ring?) I am also drunk. There are many branches, one of which is 24 hours. This one near UBC is only open until 11 pm. The advantage is that it is close and cheap, which can satisfy students who want to eat Vietnamese noodles. The disadvantage is that the taste is really average, and the ingredients in pho are somewhat less. But as a place to eat after class.
